10. Ginnifer Goodwin Buys Hollywood Bungalow from Busy Phillips Fro $1.1 Million

Once Upon A Time, (seven years ago to be exact) actress Ginnifer Goodwin purchased Cougar Town cast mate Busy Philipps’ century-old Hollywood home. The two-bedroom bungalow in the Whitley Heights area of the Hollywood Hills must be a hot commodity – previous owners included A-listers Rachel Bilson andRose McGowan and talk about charm – funny man Charlie Chaplin once lived in the neighbourhood.

At just over 2000-square-feet, the modest, Spanish-style casa includes three beds and baths, an outdoor spa, and a rooftop patio with gorgeous city and mountain views. Ginny and her on-screen and real life Prince Charming, Josh Dallas must be busy baby proofing their abode – the couple’s first child is due any day now.

9. Selena Gomez Buys Jonah Hill’s LA Home For $2.2 Million

When Selena Gomez bought The Wolf of Wall Street actor Jonah Hill’s 7000-square-foot Tarzana celebrity mansions in 2012, she was just a hop, skip and a jump away from pop sensation boyfriend, Justin Bieber‘s Calabasas mansion. My how things change. Selena and the Biebs are no longer together, and she has since sold the Tarzana property and moved into Justin’s old Calabasas stomping grounds to be closer to her new besties,Kendall and Kylie Jenner. But then she got the rumour mill buzzing when she promptly unfollowed the sisters on Instagram…but back to the house. Selena’s former mansion is truly celeb-worthy. 8. Josh Hutcherson Buys Heath Ledger’s Hollywood “Treehouse” for $2.5 Million

Surrounded by lush sycamores and an abundance of foliage, Hunger Games star, Josh Hutcherson‘s Hollywood Hills home is truly a nature lovers paradise. Dubbed the ‘Treehouse’ because of its wooded structure and stunning views, the 1800-square-foot home features an additional 2500-square-feet ofoutdoor living space where you’ll find multiple patios, an outdoor movie-screening room and a fire pit. Built in 1951, the home’s previous A-list owners include Michelle Williams and Heath Ledger and real estate lover, Ellen DeGeneres.

7. Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin Buy Kate Winslet’s London Home for $4.3 Million

Conscious uncouplers Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin’s Hampstead home may have started out as being quite modest, but since buying the home from fellow Oscar-winner Kate Winslet back in 2004, it has literally been transformed. After purchasing the two-story home in the Belsize Park area of North London, the couple proceeded to purchase the home next door for just over $5 million and joined the two houses together, followed by the home on the opposite side to create a 33-room mansion complete with swimming pool, garden and changing room. Since announcing their split, a moving van was spotted outside the home sparking rumours that the house will most likely go on the market in the very near future.

6. Kaley Cuoco Buys Khloe Kardashian’s Tarzana Home for $5 Million

In January 2014, an almost divorced, Khloe Kardashian sold her 8000-square-foot mansion to newlywedKaley Cuoco – must have been bittersweet to hand the keys over to the happy couple. The Big Bang Theory cutie and her tennis player hubby, Ryan Sweeting purchased the 8000-square-foot sprawling estate which boasts of 7 bedrooms, six bathrooms and a driveway so big it can accommodate more than tencars. Foodies will get a kick out of the mediterranean-style villa which features an outdoor kitchen andfire pit, as well as a resort-like swimming pool complete with waterfalls and a spa.

5. Jessica Simpson Buys Ellen DeGeneres’ Beverly Hills Home for $5.275 Million

When Jessica Simpson went from naive Texan Newlywed to tainted Hollywood divorcee, she packed up and moved from one privileged area of Beverly Hills to…you guessed it, another privileged area of Beverly Hills buying talk show host Ellen DeGeneres’ Hidden Valley home for a reported $5.275 million. The five bedroom five bath property was built in 1991 and sits on more than 5,000-square-feet of land. Famousneighbours include Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban while the chic space features a large media room, extensive gardens, pool and a koi pond. After welcoming her second child Ace Knute with fiancé Eric Johnson in 2013, the growing family sold the house for $6.4 million and moved into a property close to double the size purchased from real estate lovers, Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne. The price tag: a whopping $13 million.

4. Jim Parsons Buys Robert Pattinson’s Los Feliz Home for $6.375 Million

It once was the love nest of Hollywood’s favourite couple, but when the romance of Robert Pattinson andKristen Stewart went south, the home went too. Built in 1922, the Spanish-colonial style home was snapped up by Jim Parsons of The Big Bang Theory who fell in love with the ‘old Hollywood’ feel of the home, unparalleled city views and tons of open space – the home sits on a terraced 1.5 acre lot. Pattinson bought the home in 2011 from basketball player Kareem-Abdul Jabaar for $6.275 million.

3. Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon Buys Farrah Fawcett’s Bel Air Estate for $6.975 Million

Just like its owners, there is nothing understated about songstress, Mariah Carey and her comedianhubby‘s Hamptons-style mansion. From the ‘Aspen room’ that accommodates close to two hundred people, to the basketball court and gym, this seven bedroom, nine bathroom home even has a putting green and parking for 20 cars. The couple purchased the property once owned by former Charlie’s Angels pin-up,Farrah Fawcett back in 2009 and recently put the house on the market for $13 million – almost twice what they paid five years ago. The youngest Kardashian sis, 29-year-old Khloe recently made her new neighbours very, very happy when she purchased Justin Bieber’s sprawling mansion in The Oaks – a gated community in Calabasas, California. The home once owned by Eddie Murphy, features seven bedrooms, eight baths and a built-in outdoor kitchen and boasts two, three car garages, a game room and an elevator – in case you’re too relaxed to walk up the stairs after sitting in front of any one of the home’s six fireplaces. And Kardashian is ingood company; her neighbours include her eldest sister, Kourtney and mamma Kris and half sisters Kendall and Kylie live just down the street.

1. Christina Aguilera Buys the Osbourne’s MTV Mansion for $11.5 Million

Back in 2009, The Voice judge Christina Aguilera snapped up Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne‘s 11,000-square-foot Beverly Hills celebrity mansions paying a cool $11.5 million for the six bedroom, nine bathroom estate. Aguilera massively redecorated the home which you might have seen featured on the Osbourne’s MTV reality show.

Not known for her subtlety, the mansion features an in-your-face colour scheme of pink and red while celeb-worthy amenities include a complete gym, a full beauty salon, a gift wrapping room and recording studio. After her split from hubby Jordan Bratman in 2011, Aguilera put the house on the market for $13.5 million where it sat for two years before finally selling to an undisclosed buyer in 2013.
