Though many of our beloved movie stars and celebrities call Hollywood their workplace, it is actually the magical city of Beverly Hills that they call home. As far back as the 1700′s this city was first revered for it’s abundance of water. These days, the champagne, Chardonnay and trendy cocktails flow just as freely as that much sought after water, in celebration of million dollar deals, signed contracts and the winning of coveted awards. Without a doubt, this is where the rich and famous meet to eat, drink, and spend money in the 900 elite shops and boutiques that the city has become famous for.

Beverly Hills is roughly 5.7 miles in size with 34,000 residents. However, during the day this city bustles with over 200,000 people, some of whom work in Beverly Hills, and many who come to partake in the city’s high end offerings, and to just star gaze. It was in the 1940′s that the city really began to develop. With the infamous Rodeo Drive as it’s focus, the commercial district became known as the “Golden Triangle.” By the 1950′s it began to be recognized for it’s grand homes and the onslaught of movie production and later, many several television series. It is also home to The Beverly Hills Hoteland The Beverly Wiltshirewhere the movie Pretty Woman was filmed.

Douglas Fairbanks and Mary Pickford led the stars to Beverly Hills when they built their mansion Pickfair in 1919. Today Beverly Hills is home to some of our most well-known celebrities, including Taylor Swift,Bruce Willis, Rod Stewart and the Hilton family. The list below represents some of the most enviable homes in Beverly Hills. This list is based on amenities, history and the most recent price recording.
